Sprinklers Save Lives

DID YOU KNOW THAT…

the fire sprinkler heads shown would not work if there was a fire?

Sprinklers are designed to have the green bulb break when the temperature reaches 155 degrees, to begin the water flow.  These sprinkler heads are so corroded that the water may not flow past the build-up–much like a clogged sink.

The sprinkler head on the far right has been painted.  This type would normally be in the attic.  The paint prevents the link from melting thereby delaying the water spray.

If you have sprinklers, have your C-16 Fire Sprinkler contractor check out any potential issues.

Check out this recent video and article of a home fire without sprinklers, killing four people.
